Vortex Irregular Rug Standard (Sample)
This Vortex Irregular Rug in Standard size is a new stock sample piece with some minor defects.
Our ex-display rugs may have some imperfections, are sold as seen and non-returnable.
Product description
This piece has been created by a weaving team we were trailing who did not achieve the quality level we require to be one of our weaving partners. See Product Description below:
The yarn density of the tufting is lower than our normal specification meaning less wool has been used to weave this rug than normal. This is not visibly noticeable. The pile height of the rug throughout remains the same as our normal specification.
Our ex-display rugs may have some imperfections, are sold as seen and non-returnable.
Details and design
A strikingly geometric rug, the triangles increasingly overlap towards the centre of the piece and fragment to create smaller and smaller secondary triangles. This contemporary rug design highlights angular interlocking forms of pink, orange, red, blue and yellow, colliding to create subtle and seemingly transparent shapes.
Vortex is composed of twenty eight hand dyed colours and six different pile heights.
Composition and care
Hand tufted in pure New Zealand wool by GoodWeave artisan weavers, Vortex is a hard wearing and easily washable rug, made entirely of natural products, in an eco friendly and ethical way. Whether displayed as a floor rug or wall hanging, the Vortex rug will bring transparency, luminosity and light to any living space.
