The Creation of the Chromatic Pixels Rug our latest Rug Launch in 2023
To coincide with London Design Festival 2023, are thrilled to announce the launch of our new rug and runner design:
Chromatic Pixels
Inspired by Sonya’s fascination with the intricate pixels that compose a digital photographic image the Chromatic Pixels Rug stems from Sonya’s time as a photographer in the early noughties when she worked as a photographer in the new age of digital.
This complex yet harmonious design evolved though more than 20 stages of design to get to final design that Sonya and the team were happy with.
The myriad of 41 unique hand dyed colours create this transformational New Zealand wool rug is perfect to use as a living room rug, bedroom rug, playroom rug or even media room rug where its dense thick twisted pile not only reflects the vibrant colours within the rug but also works to absorb sound like a sound panel assisting with the acoustics in a room

We loved this bold design so much we also adapted the design into a modern hallway runner
Once the design had been finalised the wool colours were shipped to our weavers in rural India when the started the process of pot dying the 41 colours and then hand tufting the first rugs.
You never really know how it will look until it is finished! But we are thrilled with the final results. WHAT DO YOU THINK….?
