At Sonya Winner Rug Studio, we understand that buying a new luxury rug can be a difficult decision, with so many sizes, shapes, colours, and designs in our vibrant contemporary collection. This is why we offer a Free Modern Rug Visualisation service to revolutionise your shopping experience. It allows you to see how your desired rug will look in your space through digital rendering, so you can buy with confidence.
How to submit your free visualisation request:
Submitting your request for a free digital visualisation is simple and convenient. There are a couple of ways to do so…
Submit through our individual rug product pages
1. Visit the product page of your favourite contemporary rug on our website.
2. Look for the purple button labelled “visualise this rug in your room”.
3. Clicking this will prompt a pop up window to appear. Fill in your information, contact details, an specify the rug size(s) you are considering.
4. Then finally, upload the images of the room you’d like us to place the rug in as well as any key furniture measurements (e.g sofa, coffee table). This enables us to accurately scale the rug to your space.
Submit through our Visualise page
1. You can visit our visualise page here and fill in the visualisation form with your details, and upload your photos and room measurements.

2. Share your room photos and specifications with us and we’ll guide you through the process!
If your room is not yet ready, and you have a SketchUp or other kind of digital floor plan, we can place a digital model of the rug into it.
Once we’ve received your request, our team will work on creating your digital visualisation, and you can expect to receive it within 2 working days!

Selecting the right colour for your area rug can be challenging when having to rely on imagination and guesswork, but our visualisation service simplifies this process.
By seeing how our colourful modern rugs interact with your walls and furnishings, you can decide if they enhance your room. This ensures the rug complements and enhances the cohesive colour palette of your space effectively.
If you have a new build, or you are re-doing a room in the house, we welcome you to send colour samples of curtains, sofas and/or wall paint so we can find the perfect modern area rug to match.

Rug Size
Digital visualization helps you gauge the size and proportion of the modern rug in relation to your room layout. The rendering lets us scale rug sizes to your space, helping you decide the best-suited luxury rug size.
Opting for a smaller rug size can make it look lost in empty space, reducing its overall aesthetic impact. Conversely, choosing an excessively large rug may obscure our unique designs under furniture, detracting from their visual appeal. We strongly recommend providing accurate space measurements so we can visualise the best size for you!
