Sonya Winner Rug Design Studio and Showroom
Sonya Winner Rug Design Studio and Showroom is a niche, independently owned design studio specialising in unique art for the floor. Located in North-West London and just a stone’s throw away from the beautiful Hampstead Heath, Sonya Winner’s Showroom is a hub of colour, creativity, contemporary art, and of course, her signature bold irregular rugs.
Visitors stepping into the studio are greeted by an explosion of colour and form, where each rug is displayed like a work of art on the walls and on the floor. The showroom allows clients, collectors, and design lovers to engage with the pieces up close, gaining a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship involved in their creation.

We welcome walk-ins anytime during our opening hours (which you can find here), but we recommend that you book an appointment so that we can get out and display your favourite rugs in advance of your arrival. We would also love to offer you a glass of wine or a cup of coffee, while you take your time deciding the perfect rug(s) for your space!

Contemporary Art at our London Showroom
Over the years during her travels, Sonya has collected pieces of modern art which resonate with her colourful and contemporary designs.

Tim Rawlinson (Master glass blower)
Sonya and Tim collaborated on an exhibition called ‘Exploring Transparency’, where they worked together exploring and pushing the boundaries of colour, light and transparency in hand woven rugs and hand-blown glass. Read more here.
Alice Rose (Illusional ceramics)
We are so excited to be the only stockist outside of New Zealand of Alice Rose’s incredible illusional ceramics and to have them in our studio! We have her mirage vases, her illusional vessels and her figurative works. They were discovered by Sonya at the Auckland Art Gallery during her travels in New Zealand and have since become an inspiration and a daily source of charm. Read more here.
Karola Torkos (Recycled jewellery)
Karola Torkos is a German contemporary jeweller living and working in Luebeck. At Sonya Winner’s Showroom there are a select few necklaces for sale which are handmade using recycled plastic in bright vibrant colours.
