The Creation of the Chromatic Pixels Rug our latest Rug Launch in 2023
Coinciding with London Design Festival 2023, we are thrilled to launch our new contemporary rug and runner design:
Chromatic Pixels
Inspired by Sonya’s fascination with digital pixels, the Chromatic Pixels Rug stems from her early 2000s career as a photographer. This complex yet harmonious design evolved through over 20 design stages before Sonya and the team were happy with it.
The 41 unique hand-dyed colours create a transformational New Zealand wool rug, perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, playrooms, or media rooms. Its dense, thick twisted pile enhances vibrant colours while absorbing sound like a panel, improving room acoustics.

We loved this bold design so much we also adapted the design into a modern hallway runner
Once we finalized the design, we shipped the wool colours to our weavers in rural India. They began pot-dyeing the 41 colours and then hand-tufted the first rugs.
We never really know how it will look until we finish it! But we are thrilled with the final results. WHAT DO YOU THINK….?
